Moving Installed Programs

So I moved a few installed programs from one hard drive to another, I was able to fix my desktop links, but I've noticed that when you go to add / remove programs in programs & features they still have the wrong file path and can't be uninstalled. Is there a way to fix this? I tried running a system file check but that didn't help.

Windows runs on the system registry for those sort of things. Just moving the files breaks the registry. The only way to manually fix it is to go through your registry and update all the links and references (could be many).

If you are not knowledged in modifying or even navigating the system registry, you may want to to take it to someone to have things fixed or you can totally bust your system and end up in a situation where you need to just reinstall everything (might be a good idea by this point anyways; IMO).

I fixed the install locations for the programs that were actually listed, the problem is they aren't all listed in the registry, and even after updating them (battle.net for instance) they still show the wrong path in programs & features.

Thanks for all the help recently with PC stuff btw Krazy.
