Mmm yeh,
Im not scottish tho and the band "the irish rovers" would want to be wearing full battlegear if they tried singing that in glasgow.

St andrews x,(the scottish flag,part of the union jack) with a green tinge instead of blue in the link would also not go down too well in scotland ,unless you were interested in aquiring a "glasgow kiss" aka a face to face headbut and consequent broken nose :lol: .

For interesting irish drinking songs.. check out the pogues on youtube, specifically "the last of the irish rovers"

North american drinking songs are more associated with the cultural background of the original immigrants,french,Irish,Scottish etc etc.
I suppose things like some of gordon lightfoots folk songs or the voyage of the sloop John b would be more contemporary .
