USA summer Vacations

Hi guys! I was wondering when are the big summer vacations for the USA. Could anyone en-light me please?

Around Christmas, around Easter, and usually during the summer

when do all the schools end? I québec we have the construction vacation, it lasts 2 weeks and it's in the middle of the summer. is there anything alike in the states?

Depending on the school district beginning of june to end of august/beginning of sept

ok sorry, not the students then, the workers. Dont they have a 2weeks off somewhere in the summer?

No such thing, unlike civilized countries, the states works there workers to the bone every week of the year.

Yeah the "workers" 2 weeks of summer break and the 36 hour work week, with manditory over time/comp time pay sounds good to me.

Nope in the states, they can say work 80 hours a week, no extra pay, no benifits, no vacattion, and when you are worn out and used from us working you to the bone, they can toss you out with out hesitation or notice.

That being said many good companies give fair vacation time to keep the good employees around, however many of those same do expect the 50-60 hours a week the last 10-20 being "non-compensated".
